GLS Tanks: For which reasons have you chosen a GLS Tank?

Ing. Traintinger: We liked the concept of GLS Tanks. Especially the following criteria have convinced us:
- Easy and quick erection
- Pleasant design
- Long durability because of enameling of the steel panels
- Adequate in an optimal way for the requested purpose
- Good cost-benefit-ratio

GLS Tanks: How satisfied were you with the planning?
Ing. Traintinger: The planning process on the part of the distributor, the company M-U-T from Stockerau, was a little bit bumpy and delayed. However, the finally provided construction details were alright at the end.

GLS Tanks: How was the procedure of erection?
Ing. Traintinger: The delivery and the erection of the tank was accomplished by the company M-U-T, Stockerau, whereas the erection was done by a Macedonian subcontractor of M-U-T, the company Turboinzenering from Skopje, supervised by an Austrian chief erector. The foundation was built by a Macedonian construction company (Mavrovoinzenering). I would like to point out the simple and quick erection, which took place without problems.

GLS Tanks: When was the initial operation?
Ing. Traintinger: The initial operation was on September the 9th, 2008.

GLS Tanks: Can you give us a short resume of the entire project?
Ing. Traintinger: The common project was about a new construction of 7 km wastewater canalisation, as well as a sewage-treatment plant for 9.000 population equivalents in the community Cucer-Sandevo, Republic of Macedonia. The first, now realised, stage of extension, is construed for 3.000 population equivalents. The project was funded by public subsidies of the Austrian Republic (Austrian Development Agency), as well as public subsidies of the Macedonian Republic. Therefore all services had to be public tenders. The company M-U-T from Stockerau was the best bidder, with the best conditions for delivery and erection of the mechanical equipment inclusive EMSR-technique for the wastewater treatment plant. The project planning was, aside from the mentioned start-up difficulties, very satisfactory. I specially want to point out the big time saving achieved through the fast erection of the GLS Tank, as well as the final appearance of the completed product. In post-communistic countries, such a high quality can not be found!
