Througth the purchase of the latest Toshiba printer model, GLS Tanks is taking another step against climate change. The printer is completely CO² neutral produced and transported. This is possible because Toshiba cooperates with the NGO "CO2balance" and so they are certified "Carbon Zero". Thereby GLS Tanks is the first company in Austria to have such a climate-conscious printer in operation. Carbon Zero is the certification of the NGO "CO2 Balance" and stands for the fact that the company works CO² neutral. To achieve this, you have to finance balancing projects, such as reforestation of rainforests, which balance your CO² emmisions . An important feature of the printer is that it has a print mode by applying erasable toner to the paper, which can later be removed again on the same device and so the used paper can be reused up to 5 times.
Durch die Anschaffung des neuesten Modells der Toshiba Drucker, macht GLS Tanks einen weiteren Schritt gegen den Klimawandel. Der Drucker wird komplett klimaneutral produziert und transportiert. Dies ist möglich durch die Kooperation von Toshiba mit der NGO "CO2balance". Durch diese Partnerschaft ist Toshiba "Carbon Zero" zertifiziert. GLS Tanks ist sommit das erste Unternehmen, das solch einen klima-neutralen Drucker in Bedinung hat. Die Zertifizierung "Carbon Zero" ist die Zertifizierung der NGO "CO2balance" und die ausgezeichnete Firma bekommt diese nur, wenn sie CO2 neutral arbeitet. Um dies zu erreichen, muss die Firma in Projekte investieren, die die CO2 Werte wieder ausgleichen wie zum Beispiel die Wiederaufforstung des Regenwalds. Eine beutende Funtkion des Druckers ist, dass der Drucker löschbare Tinte auf das Papier aufbringen kann. Diese kann bis zu fünf mal wieder entfernt werden und somit wird das Papier wiederverwerdet.
